What can I say? No hike, coninuous for 2.5 days, never drops below 4500 feet= NO OAK
More water is better. I am certain of this fact. Fantasy has a big bed and likes being full!
Here's me about to get the beat down against the wall in Tay's Hole. 4 for 4 of us got a recirc! At higher water you can boof center.
A leisure day one brought us to camp below one of my favorites, the Slot-to-Boof. At higher water the slot cleans up and covers the spine rock that now splits the channel.
This slide means victory for me! 2 years prior I swam out of the shallow hole that starts this long stretch of rapids and never made it to the slide ;( But this year was redemption ;)
Ev Gar killing it like always with his super suave style. I never got the 'Mushroom Boof' because I hit the Mushroom Tip and surfed straight back down the green, turned to a side surf and slipped right into the crack in the lower part of the picture- pretty hilarious for the lookers on.
